@kmwarfield I don't dare having outdoor cats at all, once my oldest escaped and left the front door open. I was on my way to the bathroom when I felt like the light was off. When I looked up I saw our other car stare at me in terror cause the door was open ( she's scared of the free world lol, so she stayed home ). I had to walk around my neighbourhood meowing until my escape heard me and came running - her name is Terror which suits her perfectly xP we always lock the door due to her!
@kmwarfield it's to dangerous where I live, bigger city with alot of trucks 🚚 otherwise I would probably tried letting terror outside if we lived by the country side. ( She was extreme as a "teen" so much energy, never seen a cat like her before)
That's nice ! And must feel really safe :)
@kmwarfield first time Terror actually escaped was when she was 5 I believe? I had her on leaches (?) Before since my old apartment was on the first floor with some grass she could play around in. She probably had alot of out door longing when we moved, so she opened the door xP
Nowadays we live on the third floor and she gets her time on the balcony, which seem to suit the old lady pretty good :)
@Zolah I tried to keep Muse indoors. I didn't start letting her out until she was 6-9 months old.
I would sit on the front step, keeping a close eye on her. She stayed really close, making sure she knew where I was.
She's followed Caspar a few times (he gets around), but always comes home when I call her.
