@PowerpuffGeezer @ZinZinArtiste
I am a retired emergency veterinarian and have performed many pyometra surgeries. The large majority of patients that make it through surgery do well. I hope this is the case for Paisley.
It is said that hindsight is 20/20 but more often than not it is more myopic. The signs of a pyometra are usually non-specific. Most people have no idea there dog is really sick. Don't kick yourself, you had no idea.
I spay all my female pets. It also prevents breast cancer.
@PowerpuffGeezer @ZinZinArtiste If they flushed the abdomen 3 times and have her on IV antibiotics and (hopefully) some pain medications that sounds good. Good luck with her and let me know if I can answer any concerns for you.
@PowerpuffGeezer Here is another positive ((((vibe)))) for you and Paisley!
