does colin farrell have a rider now that Barry Keoghan has to be in every movie he's in?
@Cuchulu watching it as we speak, they are releasing the killing of sacred deer next, which is 3 movies in a row
@Cuchulu just finished, i think it's the analogy to the conflict. brothers fighting because they wouldn't let each other live in peace?
@ZGF
🤔 beautiful language, accents, acting and location. But so dark and it didn’t stick for me.
@Cuchulu yes i suffered through the depressive plot but sometimes it's worth it. This one had some great dialogue to make it worth the depression.
@ZGF
I don’t need or even want a “happy “ film. I prefer something thoughtful, enlightening. But the more I think on this one the more I don’t understand why he was so cruel. I’ll mutilate myself before being friends again. Just incredibly cruel is all I can see.
@Cuchulu i don't either, but it's symmetrical to the conflict. Who really gave two shits about what others believed? But they decided the other can't have their way. Basically any conflict that brews from everyone wanting to be the victor despite being brothers. No conflict is fought between people that far apart.
@ZGF
Did you just see The Banshees of Inisherin?
Keoghan was especially good. What an odd film. I’m not sure what I think about it.
