@YouInMyEye I sometimes wonder if the spirit of humanity is succumbing to a self-loathing, or at least an instinct that something is terrible wrong with it, and that it is sick, and that this can manifest as people trying to destroy themselves.
Every cell in our bodies has little packets of chemicals in it, lysosomes, that when the cell realizes it is sick and harmful to others, opens and destroys the cell.
I worry humans have grown to loathe themselves enough to _want_ to die.
