I'd like to see the "Attention Gentlemen, don't rape people" poster.
LOL
I don't see the meme as an instruction manual. It is more of a list of things to consider.
@LadyZurk
It kind of de[pends on where you live doesn't it?
I'm told I am scary-looking and people are wary of me.
But I live in the 4th largest city in the US and *I* am cautious about gassing up and using ATMs after dark.
It isn't that I am scared, it is that I am not so stupid that I would invite trouble for small gain.
Hopefully, you have some plan or method for self-protection.
I'm pretty sure my principles will afford me almost zero protection when some miscreant decides I am a target.
@Xponent_Rob , going about one's life shouldn't be considered as inviting trouble. I reacted to seeing this, here, because where I usually see it posted is from people who seem to have a vested interest in keeping their "ladies" at home.
I acknowledge that our usual routines are different, but I also travel on occasion. I've taken some wrong turns and seen the looks of "Oh boy, you're some kind of dumb." I guess I've been lucky so far, at least in that way.
@LadyZurk
Is fair.
Some might wish you good luck in all your business with regard to these matters, but I feel I should add a wish for you to always make wise decisions that protect you.
You are smart and I'm sure you will see the safe path before you.
@Xponent_Rob heh, and still stumble off and go forward again from there. 😉🫠
@Xponent_Rob , I refuse to alter my patterns, be encouraged to be afraid, or submit to this weird promotion for an insurance company. What is AAA going to do when someone tries something, right there in that minute? Why is this directed at "ladies?" I have to go out before the sun is up to make the rest of my world go 'round, so I do. This is some subtle "be afraid, stay home" kinda messaging and I reject it.
