Me sporting the new undertakers look, which is all the rage at fashion forward funeral parlors everywhere.

I must have been asked at least 11 times whether that was me in the photo on the wall. xiomaro.com/mpac.html

It was interesting to hear audience reactions and observations. Many spent quite a bit of time actively engaging with the photographs. I always learn from others during these receptions. xiomaro.com/mpac.html

An excerpt from a video produced by Mayo Performing Arts Center to promote my exhibition, "Xiomaro's Street Haunting: Photographs Virginia Woolf Might Have Taken." Reception today at 2 pm. Details: xiomaro.com/mpac.html

All are welcome to attend the free reception this Sunday (2 to 4 pm) for my street photography exhibit at the Starlight Gallery. Details are below and at xiomaro.com/mpac.html

Afterwards, you can go upstairs and join the Morris County Art Association for their free reception and exhibition.

My talk for the National Society of Arts and Letters was in a beautiful Collegiate Gothic style library. Then we crossed the street to the Mayo Performing Arts Center to see my exhibit in the Starlight Gallery. xiomaro.com/mpac.html

Attendees of my talk today are welcome to check out the library’s art collections, which include a portfolio of my photographs as well as the works of Thomas Nast and A.B. Frost – who are probably best known, respectively, for their illustrations of Santa Clause and Br'er Rabbit. xiomaro.com/nsal.html

This fabulous crew made the installation of my new solo exhibition the fastest and easiest ever.

"Xiomaro's Street Haunting: Photographs Virginia Woolf Might have Taken" is on view now until November 28 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. xiomaro.com/mpac.html

2/2/ Linda Forgosh, author of “Louis Bamberger” (the founder of IAS), arranged the visit with archivist Caitlin Rizzo for a private tour. My ideas for an art project were discussed. Time will tell if I can get funding to pursue it. Either way, it was a very interesting day. xiomaro.com

1/2 I walked amongst the geniuses who were quietly at work at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Princeton where Albert Einstein, Robert Oppenheimer, and Niels Bohr were among its many scholars.

I mentioned getting unexpected royalties. Seems like the book sold out on Amazon. It's temporarily out of stock, but signed copies are available at my website and comes with a collectible uncirculated Weir Farm quarter. xiomaro.com/books.html

As it’s my first published book, I had no expectation of it selling many copies especially with the pandemic arriving soon after its release.

So it was a nice surprise to see a direct deposit of author royalties from the publisher. Nothing one can live off of, but encouraging nonetheless. xiomaro.com/book.html

@cmajuscula A bicentennial baby! Wow. It was all meant to be. 🙂

Although you wouldn’t know it from these snapshots, 90 people attended the opening reception of the group exhibition, “Mystery, Memory & Magic” at the Atrium Gallery. My solo show – “Xiomaro’s GIANT Portfolio” – occupies the entire fourth floor. The exhibition is on view now and has been extended to March 18, 2024. xiomaro.com/atrium.html

@cmajuscula Oh I hope you will get it done and submitted! It would especially be meaningful for your family as we approach the nation's 250th anniversary in 2026. 🙂

@CyberPlayGround Thank you! It was an interesting experience. 🙂
