Decided I wanted to roast garbanzo beans for a snack, popped some in the over, left - then after ten minutes, during a song change, I heard popping. Evidently, they'd started popcorn-ing. The entire upper half of the oven is covered in remains.
Oh, and they're coming to check the ventilation, so that's fun. At least I'll have something to eat while scrubbing the oven half the night.
Oh. Fun. The lower half as well. Like a flipping crime scene. I rarely use the oven, so it's always clean. Thought I had that going for me ahead of the ventilation dude. Motherf-
