I'm starting to realize just how screwed we are ... #Trump comes back to office with a #SCOTUS get-out-of-jail-free card. The Republican SCOTUS majority ruled he can commit crimes so long as they're labelled an "official act."
So when he starts the roundups, when he starts the executions, when he loots the federal treasury to line his pockets, when he sells secrets to Putin -- he'll have a piece of paper declaring it an "official act" and that's that.
This is really really bad.

@singlemaltgirl I wonder if any of the SCOTUS majority who gave him immunity are having second thoughts. They probably did this thinking they were keeping him out of prison. They may not have thought through what would happen if he returned to power as a vengeful madman.
For all we know, he'll order the military to arrest them all and send them to Gitmo as an "official act."

i don't think the con judges have anything to fear. they've been licking his ass for the past 4 years. why stop now when he can get them more gifts from his billionaire donor supporters? they'll be saving so much in corporate taxes, they can afford a few gifts to some powerful judges, senators, and congress folks.

You're right, he probably won't do that, but he could. That's my point.
@singlemaltgirl About all we can hope is that his bad eating habits and sedentary lifestyle catch up with him sooner than later.
Personally, I think he'll miss the golf course so he'll bail once he assures he's not going to prison and he's exacted vengeance on his perceived enemies.
Then we get JD Vance, perhaps the most incompetent VP candidate since Dan Quayle. Yippee.

there are 3 that need to worry. b/c he would lock them up in a heartbeat. won't happen right away. he has some other mayhem to cause. but he'll get to them eventually.
