Oh crud ... While much of the nation watches #Hurricane #Francine come ashore, SoCal is experiencing three major firestorms.
The Bridge Fire is headed for where I grew up in Claremont. KTLA reports mandatory evacuations for areas I know quite well.

@WordsmithFL Central Oregon is burning. I'm hoping last night's rain here hit there as well. Sunriver near Bend was at Level 2 evacuation last night.
I spoke with my sister-in-law ... She said their house is three blocks outside of the Bridge Fire evacuation warning area. A little too close for my comfort.
