Been re-watching NCIS with my wife. Their overuse of the "Ziva messes up an English word" bit is annoying. Because it was spread out with week+ gaps, I guess it wasn't so obvious the first time around.

@Graci My wife loves for the same reason I hate it. It's cliché-ridden, follows a predictable formula, and is entirely unrealistic.

Most of the time, the true killer shows up about eight minutes into the show. The person is typically someone incidentally contacted and then not seen again until we circle back to them at the end of the hour.

It's not 100% true, but I'd guess at least 2/3 of the time.

@WordsmithFL Yeah. Wife likes it because it's predicable, relatively low-key, and solvable.
