Normally I don't get upset over the passing of celebrities, but two destroyed me inside -- Carrie Fisher, and Chris Reeve.
I needed facial tissues just for this trailer. The movie is going to gut me.
@WordsmithFL Carrie fishers death broke my heart when i was younger and first watched star wars episode 4 -6 she was my icon, the princess lea organa, she had a hard life and it was just very sad she passed the way she did!
@Yourgurlkeke69 Carrie was born two days before me. For someone so full of sass to go down too early in life was such a tragedy. As you know, she became an icon for the #Trump resistance movement. These were everywhere in 2017.
Oh…. what a gut punch … I had forgotten Carrie Fisher died. Princess Leia and Superman should live forever!

@QueenOfEverything I know that Carrie did it to herself, but that doesn't ease the sense of loss. With Chris, it was just a silly accident. But he made sure so much good came out of it.
I can't watch his "Smallville" episode to this day without bawling my eyes out.

How they selected us, I've no idea, but Chris and Dana Reeve chose my old home town Irvine CA to open the Reeve-Irvine Research Center at UC Irvine.
Another reason I feel a connection with the Reeves.
