RFK said earlier he'd drop out in exchange for a Cabinet or other administration executive position. I wonder if Trump promised him Director of the CDC. π€¬

@singlemaltgirl Just looked it up ... Starting in January 2005, CDC director requires Senate confirmation. I suppose that if the Senate decided Carrot Top was okay, he'd be the new CDC director.

@singlemaltgirl I honestly don't know. It depends on what the law says. I know the Senate has waived certain restrictions in the past when it came to NASA political appointees.

i mean, there's obvs no guarantees of intelligence & doing what's right (look at the current scotus), but there is a level of qualification that needs to be met.
