@DJ95X specifically said it was okay for a president to order the DOJ to conduct sham prosecutions, so election interference would also seem to be an "official act" so far as the justices are concerned.

@Siren_six Just posted the article. "If such is still necessary" appears to refer to his finding after the September 6 hearing. If he finds in 's favor, then the sentencing would be dropped.
