Regular readers of this virtual fishwrap know I purchased a Jackery solar-powered generator with two solar panels.

This morning was the proof of concept, simulating if we have to flee due to a hurricane.

I set up the two panels on the patio, which is screen-enclosed and in semi-sunlight. The generator is also on the patio.

I connected the refrigerator in the kitchen to the generator on the patio.

The generator shows an output of 5W, while the input is bouncing around 10W.

Concept proven!
