Here's the link to the complete special counsel report released today concluding that no charges will be brought against for possession of classified documents.

Quoting from the executive summary:

"And his cooperation with our investigation, including by reporting to the government that the Afghanistan documents were in his Delaware garage, will likely
convince some jurors that he made an innocent mistake, rather than acting willfully -- that is, with intent to break the law -- as the statute requires."

I've noticed that the Republicans and mainstream media are running with the quote *out of context* that the special counsel said has a poor memory.

If you read the document, it actually says he has a poor memory of how these specific documents wound up at his home seven years ago.

Could any of us remember how one box of work papers out of thousands wound up in our garage years ago?

@WordsmithFL

Classified documents would never get in a box in my garage.

@LnzyHou He didn't pack them himself. Staffers did. Someone moved the boxes to his home. He found them later when he was rummaging for his ghostwriter's research.

@WordsmithFL

I’m not suggesting Biden is remiss. As a person who was a professional declutterer, my files have never been in a garage. Or forgotten. If they not important, they are shredded.

@LnzyHou I don't think anyone cared about this as an issue until decided to rob the bank, so to speak.
