From : election board concludes it doesn't have jurisdiction to decide ballot eligibility under the 14th Amendment, punts the question to state courts.

Note ... The bipartisan ruling was 8-0. Several Republicans said they thought Trump committed insurrection but didn't have jurisdiction.

@Wbtphdjd As I've been saying for months, fifty different states with fifty different rules. Our presidential election system is very decentralized.

Absent federal legislation (good luck with that) or a ruling that applies to all, it will remain a mess.

@WordsmithFL @Wbtphdjd I think that’s the objective of the states’ rights arguments: 50 self governing entities loosely aligned by a single code of conduct.
