(That didn't take long ...)

@WordsmithFL It's a shame they couldn't assess him an ongoing fine for everything he's going to say now. Like, 65 mil punative and 5 mill per insulting tweet/speech going forward.
@TrueBloodNet I'd like to know if, under New York state law, the judge can issue an order to #Trump never to mention E. Jean Carroll ever again, otherwise he goes to jail for contempt of court. There's no way Trump could comply, so the judge could toss him in the pokey.
@WordsmithFL it's a civil case so I'm sure not. Might be possible under a criminal conviction but IDK for sure (collateral consequences)
@WordsmithFL @TrueBloodNet Can prosecution go for injunction?
@smittycanada1 @WordsmithFL I'm not a lawyer, maybe Harry Litman will address it but it's my feeling that injunctions are usually just during trials.
@WordsmithFL Antics from his lawyer didn't help him either. BTW, Habba is not out of woods to be sanctioned by Judge Kaplan afterwards to the bar. She was really pushing her luck.
@carmen Oh, I'm sure she sees her future as punditing on Newsmax, OAN, or Faux Noise. More money there than her last gig.
#Politics BREAKING FROM #CNN:
"Former President Donald #Trump hould pay $83.3 million to writer E. Jean Carroll for public statements he made in 2019 disparaging Carroll and denying her rape allegations, a Manhattan federal jury determined Friday."
