#SpaceX lost one of its more historic Falcon 9 boosters yesterday. Despite being locked down on a drone ship, it tipped over and broke in heavy seas. Among its 19 flights was the first #NASA commercial crew flight.

In its memory, I offer the US Navy Band playing "Taps."

I know a guy who can buff that out.
@granola_girl SpaceX tends not to be sentimental about their hardware. They blew up their first crew Dragon to reach ISS during a ground test at the Cape. We were hoping it would show up in the KSC museum, but alas.
The same for B1058, the #NASA Falcon 9 workhorse. It had the NASA "worm" logo painted on its side. Oh well, it was not meant to be, cherie.
