#Politics Regardless of the candidate, I'll be curious to see if #SCOTUS picks up the #Colorado ruling.
Typically questions about access to a state ballot rest with the state court. This isn't a general election, it's a state primary to determine who represents the Colorado Republican Party.
SCOTUS intervened in Florida's 2000 count, but that was a general election.
Given this court's majority tendency to side with states' rights (e.g. Dobbs), maybe SCOTUS will decline to pick it up.

If I understand it correctly, it takes 4 justices to accept an appeal. Aside from Thomas and Alito who is going to hear this? Not the 3 liberals. Not Gorsuch, contradict his own ruling? Kavanaugh and Roberts have been unreliable at times for the right wing. The hand maiden is of no consequence.
Colorado ruling may go unchallenged. It's also possible I should quit drinking bourbon. 🥃
