@MLClark Hi, hope your headache is now in past tense.
I don't like having my knuckles rapped -- I saw too much of that in parochial school -- So I've been working on Chapter 9.
Have you ever had a great sentence pop out of your mind onto screen and realize you need to restructure your text so it's the exclamation point on the scene? That happened yesterday.
I spent most of today figuring out how to end a section with that sentence.
Off to ๐ด .
@MLClark Thank you, writing muse ... I'm still working at restructuring it. It's a key turning point, because everything that happens after this is due to the question that popped out of my brain onto the screen.
Meanwhile, 500 pages of "Doro" sit here on my desk awaiting attention.

Oh, what a win of a writing day! Well done, Stephen. I know those epiphany moments - and the thrill of the follow-through, when one is able to put inspired theory into practice. :)
I hope your return to the MS later this week builds on the momentum of that clarity yesterday. It sure as heck sounds like the cadence of the work as a whole is coming together. Long may the good writing vibes continue!
