Looking for recommendations. I'd to get out of the city and enjoy some nature, but I want the cleanliness of modern utilities and very few people. Does anyone know of such a place? From what I can find, it's either super-expensive douchey "glamping", or rustic, "poop in a hole" grossness. Is there no happy medium, or am I just google-inept?

You will get all the modern amenities inside with all the rustic nature outside!
@Willowy There's often short term cabin rentals too, where you can rent them by the nature.
Some of them can get pretty rustic!
