i love talking to people who learn english as an adult, because it makes the ridiculousness of english SO obvious.

talking with a coworker today who entertains the hell out of me. he loves a good cliche but adapts them quite a bit. today he told me about a soccer play that caused a lot of controversy, but as he says “and EVERYbody was all PISSED OUT about it!” 😂

first i think it sounds weird, but how would "pissed OFF" make any more sense?
