@Weezimp I saw them open for Rush at Radio City Music Hall in 1983. The crowd hated them! Fish was not having it. Told a sold out NYC crowd “if you don't like us go to the bar…”. Eventually I came around! Great band although I have always favored Fish solo to the Hogarth-era Marillion. Cheers.

@MPCavalier I had the same experience at Nassau Coliseum in 1985-ish. Drove from Poughkeepsie to Long Island to see that humiliation. Fucking Rush fans booed them off.
In 86 they headlined at Poughkeepsie’s (Last) Chance theater. It was simulcast on the local FM station. I still have the tapes.It was an awesome show.
I disdain Rush because of their fans over this.
@MPCavalier the 86 show was Clutching at Straws. But they did stuff from all their history.
@Weezimp yeah i remember that tour! They did almost if not all of Misplaced. Incredible. I think I was at the Meadowlands show. Great memories.
