My wife, stepson, and I just had a three sided phone conversation about MAGA in general and my SIL in particular, and a question emerged. If there are really this many stupid toxic people in this country, and they've always been here in more or less the same proportions, how is it that no one has beaten us up and taken our lunch money yet?
And I'm talking a nation or group of nations. The 1% has had a stranglehold on our "lunch money" since the founding.
@TwiHusband. The Christian "white supremacist" base has always been here. Trump just gave them a national voice for the first time since George Wallace. Republicans have been taking lunch money from various groups at least since 1980. Just be glad you're not one of them, unless you count repealing Glass Steagall,which stole from the whole country.
