I should think the finale of The Last Of Us has put to rest the rampant admiration and downright fanboyism being thrown at the main protagonist as the “King of good guys”.

His motives are selfish and methods inhumane. A grade A nihilistic anti-hero that should evoke no sympathy in anybody decent and sane. The fact that he happens to look better in comparison with complete fucking animals isn’t reason enough to put him on a pedestal and worship him as some sort of impeccable, infallible savior.

@Vonzales I think that is the lesson with most post apocalyptic tales. There is no good vs evil, only bad vs worse.
