Why does Discovery Science (or the History Channel for that matter) host such shows as The Great Yetti Hunt or UFO Files or some such nonsense. I think it’s a) hurting their credibility as “science oriented media”, and b) empowers imbeciles to spread their sick BS and do real life harm to societies around the globe.

And channels that used to be dedicated to making educational entertainment now exist to throw as many seasons of Bigfoot Alien Hunter at us as possible.

I really don't think all the HBO fans are going to love Discovery when they see what it's become
