Russia is conducting another wave of missile strikes on Ukrainian cities because today is the “old New Year”.
Some time ago to break away from the “satanic western culture” the Russian holiday of Christmas had been moved two weeks back and set on January 7th instead of Dec 25 like the rest of the world (All other calendar events are mostly synchronous with the planet). It’s become an unofficial yet widely spread custom to celebrate the New Year twice as well, the 2nd being on Jan 14th.
