People have long used the phrase “blood is thicker than water” to emphasize the strength of family connections which prevails over all other bonds, but the original proverb went “Blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb” whose meaning is quite the opposite 😎
You are a good teacher.
@LnzyHou Thank you!
Never thought of myself that way 😀
I’m just a silly boy, that’s as all
Teachers are true-seekers.
“Great minds think alike” really ends with “but fools rarely differ” — meaning that conformity isn’t always a good thing.
“Jack of all trades, master of none” ends with “but better than a master of one”.
“Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back” is the complete version.
Be curious, be inquisitive and comb against the grain.
No one gives a fuck, just live your life with the volume full 👍👍
