My mom thinks that Trump is mentally ill. In 2016, I have a distinct memory of her telling me to give him a chance (even though she didn’t vote for him). I remember telling her that he was a monster. I even told her about Vera Coking. She thought I was overreacting.

After 1/6 her opinion of him shifted from disgust to open dislike and no more of “give him a chance”.

I refuse to use the DSM5 to write off his behavior. He knew what he was doing and he’s fully aware of what he’s doing now.
