We got some cheap bartlett pears, and I decided to make something decadent.
I cut the pear into slices about 1/2" thick, and laid them flat on a small plate.
I stuck some low-sugar, high-cacao chocolate chips onto each slice, and drizzled a little balsamic vinegar and soy sauce onto the pears and allowed some to puddle on the plate, along with just a couple drops of lime juice.
Dusted with a little amchur powder, covered the plate, and zapped it all in the microwave for a minute.
