I love Google Voice with an OBIHAI device and bluetooth dongle.
I was so frugal that I didn't get a data plan through my cell phone service until recently, so Voice was the only way I could get text messages for a few years.
I also still have a landline phone set-up but rather than using a typical telephone plan I use a Spectrum phone plan.
@Priestess I specifically use Google Voice phone number when asked to provide number by vendors or online...this way, it keeps my personal number out of databases. Any calls or texts get routed to my personal phone number.
My 22 year old landline phone number is shut down for everyone except 22 family and friends now. I get no more spams or scams!
Everyone else that I want to hear from gets my Google Voice number, but when the phone rings they have to announce who they are. Otherwise, I don't answer. They can leave a voicemail or they can text me.
Everyone I never want to hear from gets my cell phone number. I rarely even bother turning on my cell phone. 😉
CounterSocial is the first Social Network Platform to take a zero-tolerance stance to hostile nations, bot accounts and trolls who are weaponizing OUR social media platforms and freedoms to engage in influence operations against us. And we're here to counter it.
@Victor Bingo! That is what I use it for also.
