Yesterday, a teen girl in Nebraska pleaded guilty to charges related to a self-managed abortion. Celeste Burgess, 18, faces up to 2 years in prison for taking abortion pills & burying a stillborn fetus in 2022. She was 17 but is being tried as an adult. Her mother faces 8 years.

It’s worth noting that self-managed abortion is only illegal in 2 states, and Nebraska isn’t one of them.
