Got up early, went for a big walk and I actually got 157 intensity minutes this week despite pain from a severely arthritic knee and lots of pain. *Pat's self on back* gotta recognize those wins!
@Helveticus for sure ... Some days are harder than other for movement but I totally know that it is beneficial.
If not a cure, at least some other viable treatments. Right now I am being offered an injection that research shows is really not effective and is costly. π
@Vickietorious If the injection is steroids, commonly used for inflammation, careful. Make sure with your doctor it is safe!π
@Helveticus I have decided not to go the route of injections, I am opting for physio instead to see if it can make a difference.
@Vickietorious Good for you, you look to young for infiltrations..
@Vickietorious sorry, too young..
@Helveticus you are too kind....and I wish! π
@Vickietorious I have the same problem on my right knee and thigh, so I full empathize with your painful journey!
But the exercise is essential to fight these cranky joints!
When will the medical field come up with a cure for arthritis?
Too late for us??π
