Got a sleep mask with built-in headphones and listened to Brain.FM's deep sleep mode with rain sounds instead of their default music last night, and was OUT the entire night. Still not feeling rested because I didn't start it until after 1:30am....👀 And also my head is clogged up with allergies. But maybe keeping that up every night + consistently going to bed at a decent hour will start to pay off? Like...sleeping well may actually be possible? Is this magic?

The real game changer was when I realized yesterday that I can change the default sounds for each setting. The default deep sleep mode music actually made me feel restless and a little anxious due to the intensity. When I tried it before, I found myself sleeping lightly and waking up a lot. Pretty much the opposite effect from what I was going for. But switching the music out for rain also lowered the intensity of the thrumming sound (binural beats? I think?) which was exactly what I needed!

I think today, I'll try Creative Flow mode to see if that helps with my writing.
