@VeganHiker this is something that currently is being attempted at the provincial level in alberta. more to give resource extraction rights to companies than giving pristine nature reserves to the rich to live on. it's to mine beauty which will leave it ugly. land that has been gifted in perpetuity for generations of albertans & cdns to enjoy.
it's an issue that brought together very disparate groups on the left & right to fight it.
Trump plan is to sell off portions of our National Parks so the wealthy can live on the land preserved for over a century for ALL Americans to enjoy.
I believe Montana will be be the epicenter of the new Civil War. Montanans always unite over public land use. Right, left, center, hunter, vegans, fisherman, hikers, etc. I seen them band together to preserve public land access.

The Knoxville, Tenn. community was left in shock after a historic building on the campus of East Tenn.โs only Black college was burned to the ground Monday, Nov 4th.
Authorities believe it wasnโt just an errant spark or bad fuse box that caused the fire โ theyโre looking for the culprit.
The fire, which was reportedly visible from downtown, did irreparable damage to the 100-year-old building on the campus of Knoxville College, leaving the already struggling HBCU further deprived.

Protect those who can't protect themselves. When the government shuts down and their government services/benefits are cut off then they will listen. Or a woman in a "stand your ground" state is confronted with "your body, my choice" rant and kills the guy threatening her.

I read last night (foggy?) about some company CEO informing his staff that there would be:
"No Christmas bonuses until employees bought $X in company products"
It's 05h44 here, so I'm not awake enough to "defog" and track it down.
Reading also, that "boys are sending girls on TikTok notes: 'your body, my choice'..."

Trump voters shot themselves in the foot & they don't know it yet.
Tariffs will cause companies to down size. When their union wages, overtime, health benefits, vacation and sick leave are gone the pain will catch up.
We must fight on to shore up our democracy. Do not shame the uninformed the manipulation to subvert the truth was epic. At least those of us who know what is coming can begin to prepare.
