Iā€™m not entirely sure what happened recently, but I want to encourage everyone to use the gawd damn tools that J has provided usā€”before impulsively self-immolating / suiciding your account. If you donā€™t like someoneā€™s political stance, block them. If you donā€™t agree with someoneā€™s religious views, block them, etc. It really is as simple as that. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

@Valkyrie_D Losing people we've known for years here is horrible, but it seems odd to me that this kind of thing hasn't happened on this kind of level before. It's always been the odd one or two who didn't like something, rather than lots of people with the same reasons to bail.

With that said, as CoSo has slowly grown and shown it's going nowhere for just about 7 years now, I wonder whether 'bad actors' have decided to join and encourage distrust & an overall argumentative vibe šŸ¤”

@Valkyrie_D There are certain topics in family gatherings that usually bring years-long feuds...politics and religion are two examples. You want to push someone's buttons? Go right ahead. Or do you want to remain civil?

@Valkyrie_D I don't know who left or why. If I had to guess it would be losing BDS or losing pro-Israel based on Jesters post. Imagine leaving because one didn't like someone saying Israel has right to exist.

@AnnetteTRemain seeā€¦.I canā€™t ever imagine leaving this place. CoSo is home. It just makes me sad to learn that others can suicide over differences of opinions.

@Valkyrie_D I think it's because people cross the line between opinion and hate.
