Okay, so... I love iPhone, but considering I've annihilated 3 in less than a year, I decided to give Android a shot. I'm still figuring this shit out....but damn....not too shabby. I'm using one of my older Samsung phones and now I want to upgrade! And, Swype text!?!? Where's this shit been all my life!?!? 😍
@Graci I could see how this would come in handy after a few drinks 😂
@Valkyrie_D What phone do you have? I've been Samsung since the Galaxy S III. (And I had the original Motorola Droid before that)
@Graci I'm on a cheap A12 and I also have an A54. I bought my kid the Galaxy S24 and he loves it. Maybe I'll get one of those. I'm still deciding. I love iPhone but Android is starting to grow on me, again.
@Valkyrie_D I have the S23 Ultra. LOVE. But it's heavy. Wife has the S24 regular and it's like a feather in comparison.
@Valkyrie_D swipe text, ew. go away.
@Valkyrie_D I love my Pixel pro.
@Valkyrie_D wait--does iphone not have a swipey keyboard?
@rpardee not sure. I'm just exploring this phone and didn't like my keyboard setup and so I stumbled across Swype.
Is that not the same as the "slide to type" in the keyboard options on the iphone?
@whonat not even close. It’s more like a lazy drag-your-finger-across-the-keyboard and let it sort it out for you thing. It’s fairly accurate, too. I very much disliked iPhone’s standard keyboards. I thought I was using Swype, but I’m using Gboard with glide typing. It’s available for iPhone as well :-)
Ah. So the iphone is similar. I turned it off because it messed up too many words. LOL Sounds like the Android version is much better.
@Valkyrie_D Welcome to the Android crew. I've always had Android ( dating back to the OG Droid ). I could never go to an iPhone.
@Valkyrie_D I live for Swype. The Google Keyboard version is fantastic
