This topic piques my interest: Do you have an internal monologue, or do you visualize thoughts or both?
@Valkyrie_D: Both. I was perhaps forty-five years old when I learned for real that not everyone has an internal monologue, that not everyone as a matter of course visualizes all of their thoughts, that not everyone does both, and that not everyone has between four to eight independent and consciously navigable trains of thought going simultaneously all the time while they're awake.
When I learned that from my neurologists and my shrink, it explained a lot.

That simply doesn’t compute for me. Makes no sense!
@SpaceSlothForever @Valkyrie_D internal monologue? I have an entire committee who hold public hearings. 4 are obviously heavy day drinking, 2 are passive aggressive, 5 are always counter arguing each item up for discussion, and 1 just nods

I sometimes wonder if those that claim to have no internal monologue are being honest with the rest of us. Makes no sense
@Valkyrie_D I have several internal monologues going on at any given time, they'll all get me into trouble if I listened to their advice.😂
