But what would you recommend for people who want to make sure their personal and group communications to one another are as private as possible, and not under the control of a possibly unfriendly entity?
Is that a subject you would feel comfortable weighing in on?

If nobody shows up to tell you what to do or how to do it, that's a thing to figure out how to do without being told.
But it's easier when we don't all have to invent our own wheels and discover fire.
@AskTheDevil @allin @SpaceShanks had written a response earlier today suggesting Signal, maybe he has thoughts on this too?
@Valkaru @allin @SpaceShanks My main concern with Signal is that it works through a centralized server, and people do not have control of their communication - Signal does.
