If you listen to it carefully when they are addressing her they ask her what she's gonna sing and she says a song she wrote.
Then they ask her what it's about, and she says "It's a song about the last year of my life."
EVERYONE, the audience and the judges thought she was referring to *last* year.
She KNEW she was referring to now. *This* year.
Breaks me.
