From what I'm seeing, it wasnt so much that trump overperformed....he did by small numbers pretty consistently in battleground states, (71,212,766 votes so far, not his 74m showing like 2020 yet) it's that Harris failed to motivate Biden's voters back to the polls this time, so far his popular vote total is still around 2020 numbers, but in Harris' case Biden got 81,284,000 plus votes but Harris is only logging 66,282,873 votes so far.

I don't know on the breakdown, but if they did fail or refrain from voting for a specific reason I'd guess it was Israel's war on Hamas/Hizb'Allah and Harris not pounding away at it (which would've been political suicide if she had, but that's what they wanted) and they'll let the electorate know if they did abandon dems for sticking by Israel, but we will hear soon I'm sure.
@Usama_Backhair My thinking was that Harris would be motivating a new generation of voters from the Gen Z category. She should have done so, unless the youth vote once again failed to vote.
