@bluesbaby I'm pretty sure I have at least one of those buried in a box under some tangled parallel port printer cables.

@JailTheTrumps For some reason I envision a note in your file that says there was an 'event' with your gown last time so they'd prefer to go a different route. 😂

@Museek this was the favorite song of a friend of mine who passed away way before his time. His sister played it at his funeral. I bawled uncontrollably afterwards. Now it brings me immense joy and conjurs wonderful memories of him. Thank you for giving that to me just now. My smile will carry me well into the morning. ❤

@99reasons4truth and of course I had to finish that in my best Penny voice. 😂

Mark Rober is a hero in this house. My kids and I love his channel and when he releases a new video it’s one of the few times all the kids are together and not fighting.

We can’t wait for this!

@corlin I understand no kudos expected from your post. But I will comment that I've added many of your submissions to my reading list. I am sadly behind in my reading but truly enjoy what you do for us.

@Qbae I meant to mention.... A growing number of banks now offer "push provisioning" If you use ApplePay or GooglePay (or even Garmin Pay in some cases), and your bank has a mobile app, you can sometimes ask to have your account pushed directly into the mobile wallet by the bank through the bank's mobile app. No need for you to do it after you get the plastic. And....if you already have that bank's card in a mobile wallet then the replacement might already be done.

@Qbae good luck. For what it's worth, banks really do try hard to lower false positive fraud scenarios. Hope its nothing serious and you get what you need.

So I did a thing over on the bird site. Don't hate me.

My submission:

Spring is in the air
The harsh winter finally cast aside
The dull hues changing to a vibrant palette
Look about and soak in the new beginning

First vaccine shot scheduled for 03-Apr. 🎉 I will let you know if my fingerprints are gone the next morning.

Sat in the rain last night watching my younger boys play a varsity soccer match. ⚽️ They both started. 🙂
On paper our boys were supposed to hammered by the other team. End of regulation time they were tied 2-2. End of two 10-minute extra periods still tied at 3-3. PKs go down to the last shot. We eventually lose by 1.
Our boys and the coaches were extatic at the team's performance. It was a fun match to watch. They will go into their next match knowing they can beat just about anybody.

@Qbae
A tad off topic...Many years ago I had a neighbor who called his wife The Beast. She was a very nice person. He seemed like a nice person as well until I factored in the fact he called his wife The Beast. He even said it when she was present. Looking back I think i was too nieve to be afraid for her.
They move across the country. I don't know that anything bad ever happened but I could never for the life of me figure out why a husband would ever call his wife such a horrible name.

@Alfred If we didn't start the fire then who did?

Multiple alarm traffic accident about a block from my house this morning. Traffic diverted through the neighborhood to create a parade of unfamiliar vehicles past my windows.
All the sirens had me freaked out until I could verify that my lovely bride was safely at work.
No details yet but certainly someone's life has changed today in the blink of an eye.
