His response to my sage advice was, “It won’t be 9.”
I’m still not sure how I made kids so freaking much smarter than me.
@Urbankidx4 school kids today get a lot more math than i did in high school it seems. i took what would be called ap classes with all the math available, and we got only very basic algebra and geometry and didn't even touch trig, let alone calculus.
@Urbankidx4 I still maintain that it stops being math once you stop using numbers. At that point it’s just a foreign language.
