I have been trying to catch the 6 ferals that live near my complex and get food from me.
Get them to shelters and out of the cold before we move. After a week with one in the bathroom and several bites later, we let her out.
We scared them off for too long and I will just try to TNR. These cats are to set in their ways and I don't want to hurt them.
So I will catch take to get fixed and treated then free. It was a terribly sad lesson.
@Uppitywomyn I love that you cared so much you tried. Sadly sometimes the wild cannot be tamed and their situation although dire may be what’s best for them 💕
@Ravenlock I will keep feeding them while we are here and I am giving my heated house to my neighbor, she says she will put it in her patio as I do mine. but I feel bad for leaving them, but we just cant afford our place anymore. so we are downsizing to a motorhome
