It doesn't have teams of technicians. It doesn't have support staff. It doesn't have any of the resources that the big social media companies have.

Some folks post to get your shackles up. Scroll on by and ignore. I’ve been guilty of not doing so at times and it lead me into a negative spiral. It’s their intent to rattle you. Don’t take the bait. 💜

tl;dr: Bluesky is basically vaporware at this point, likely will only be implemented by the Bird Site for a variety of reasons (complex, non-standard protocols, etc.), and doesn't really solve the real problems facing social media (moderation, for instance).

You're better off with a place you can trust where you're not the product.
