Need to share. If anyone remembers, my wife underwent a clinical trial for her ovarian cancer a while back. It was very successful, but not COMPLETELY.
So, the doctor applied to the insurance company to continue treatment. 8 pills in the morning, 8 at night, twice a week....at $280 a pill. The insurance company refused. The drug is specific for breast cancer. Experimental for ovarian.
Anyway, they wrangled for two weeks, and today the insurance caved. Full coverage with a $160 a month copay.
