"The chimp vocalization for 'lets have sex' is almost indistinguishable from the vocalization for 'I'm gonna kill you'."

@cjcrew I recall an article that suggested, in chimp society (and thus presumably in our chimp-like ancestors the australopithecines) alpha males are, without exception, psychopaths. We didn't get past chimp level in social organization until we grew sophisticated enough in our communication and reasoning for the females and lesser ranked male to organize and start killing off the alphas systematically. Supposedly they culled enough of them for humanity (or something like it) to then evolve.
@cjcrew No need to kill them. Identify them young, and snip snip. And they never get to run for office, nor handle or own a weapon of any kind.
@TwiHusband I’d be good with that, but we’d need a string punishment for illegal possession. When they say making guns illegal means people will still possess them they are referring to themselves doing so.

@TwiHusband Usually I’d disagree about the elimination of humans simply because of a flaw in the design but in this situation, I agree. This “alpha male” bullshit is behind the majority of the world’s problems.
