I feel another "I told you so" brewing. When Reagan destroyed "The Fairness Doctrine" he opened the door. Once the news media stopped doing actual news, and started being entertaining, because there was more money (and hence political power for some people) in it, we were screwed. @TwiHusband As a 55 year radio veteran, Reagan & Clinton helped to destroy an industry that I loved. Big companies buying up radio stations and then running commercial breaks that last way too long. Who listens to that crap? Virtually no one because they've changed stations or gone to streaming music. And these companies think nothing of requiring on air talent to voice-track for 2 or more of their stations.
