@Tattoomonkey29 it's an amazing museum (a bit eye watering after a few rooms! So much gold and marble!) And the gardens (a park, really) are stunning. If you ever go to Rome, the gardens are free to wander and are one of the highlights!

@Tattoomonkey29 my friend had a long-standing dream of going, and there were many places I was keen to see. Since we went in Feb it wasn't as crowded and the guest house we stayed in was a very reasonable price. It was chilly, but I'm not great with heat so I think I'd expire in a Roman summer!
