It occurs to me that any anti-fascist groups forming or strengthening right now should seriously consider moving to an app like Signal - or migrating to here - to avoid the inevitable fallout that using "regular" social media will cause them.

There are a lot of people out there who have experienced horrible, traumatic things, sometimes as children, sometimes as adults.
But for a big fraction of those people, I guess their reaction is not "I will make sure that what happened to me never happens to anyone ever again" but "It happened to me and I got through it, so it's okay if I do the same thing to others. They'll deal with it just like I did."
